We had recently taken in a rescue cat - 2 years old, who was only an inside cat at the time. He now greatly enjoys the freedom of being able to access our back yard through his cat door anytime he wants. He's outside all the time now. It's even safe at night, as he can't escape. We found the instructions for the installation of the cat netting easy to follow, and it was also reasonably easy to install ourselves. Would recommend this product to anyone wanting a safe haven for their pet.
My 2 kitties love the catio and I love it because I know they are safe. I have a small table, chair, cathouse, scratching post all in there with room to spare!

We bought a huge 10m x 10m panel of netting to use as a “ceiling” over our part of the catio that covered part of the back yard. It looks so professional and is unobtrusive.
Excellent quality very happy have joined the 3.6 and 5.4 via the tunnel so one is covered for winter and the bigger one for summer
We already had purchased a stand alone catio from catsnets we love for our 3 girl cats. But a stray boy kitten came to us in need...and of course we had to keep him. We wanted them to have more space outside, so we came back to this cite and ordered netting to actually in close our back patio. We created a tunnel as well to get from the stand alone catio to the patio. They love. The netting is great. Its so much easier to work with than deer netting. We also utilized the videos on this cite for using the guide ropes. It took a few days but it all came together and our cats just love it. We installed a pet door for the window so they come in and out safely whenever they please. Elsa, Anna, Luna, and Rufus approve!
Its great but. The green tarps pretty much turn into giant weights the supports for the roof are not strong enough to hold up water, it is best buying your own supports and buying tarps for the roofing instead.
Very lightweight frame and easy to move around.
Yesterday 10th March 2026, another Muntjac deer was in my garden. Whilst this is a common, but not everyday event, a visitor's labrador gave chase. The female adult deer slammed into the Catio at full speed. Startled it raced out of the Catio, across the garden and jumped the fence/hedge and away across the fields. The Premium Stainless Steel Reinforced netting was attached to the steel Catio frame with cable ties. They snapped on impact. The steel frame and the netting suffered no damage. Fortunately, my cats were not using the Catio. Judging by the way the deer reacted there was no signs of any injury.

The net specifications looked perfect for my Koi pond so I purchased a 5m x 3m net and 6mm black border rope. I tensioned the net using stainless extension springs and S Hooks and now I can see the fish much better than when I had a metal grid over the pond.
I haven’t finished putting it up yet as I couldn’t get someone to build it but it shall be finished by the weekend
